[§321-441]  Definitions.  Whenever usedin this part, unless a different meaning clearly appears from the context:

"CBRNE event" means the use ofchemicals, biological agents, radioactive materials, nuclear devices, orexplosives to kill or sicken people, animals, or plants.

"Department" means the department ofhealth.

"Director" means the director ofhealth.

"Emergency response stockpile" meansa strategic supply of drugs, vaccines and other biological products, medicaldevices, and related supplies maintained by the department to protect or treatthe population of the State in the event of a CBRNE event. [L 2005, c 46, pt of§1]
