§323D-23  Subarea health planning councils,composition, appointment.  Members of subarea health planning councilsshall be appointed by the governor, subject to section 26-34.  Nominations forappointment shall be solicited from health-related and other interestedorganizations, and agencies, including health planning councils, providers ofhealth care within the appropriate subarea, and other interested persons.  Themembers of the subarea health planning councils shall not be compensated fortheir services but shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses necessary to theperformance of their function.
