[§325-15] Infectious and communicable
diseases, examination and treatment. United States citizens or nationals,
upon returning to this State after five or more years residence in any
territory or possession of the United States, or any foreign country, with a
high occurrence of infectious and communicable diseases, shall submit a medical
examination report that shall include a tuberculin skin test or a chest x-ray
examination, and in the case of a positive skin test a chest x-ray report shall
be submitted, to the department of health within sixty days of return to this
State. The department of health shall cooperate with public and private
authorities, where feasible, in implementing this section. [L 1978, c 130, §1]
