§325-52  Serologic tests; reports.  Forthe purposes of this part a standard serologic test shall be a test forsyphilis approved by the department of health and shall be made at a laboratoryapproved to make such tests by the department.  Such laboratory tests as arerequired by this part shall be made on request without charge at the departmentlaboratories.  The department shall issue a "laboratory report form"to be distributed upon application to all laboratories approved to make testscalled for in this section.  Any laboratory making any such tests shall preparethe report thereof in triplicate.  The original of the report shall betransmitted by the laboratory making the test to the certifying physician.  Theduplicate copy of such report shall be forwarded to the department.  Thetriplicate shall be retained by the laboratory in its files and shall be openat any time for inspection by an authorized representative of the department.[L 1943, c 219, §2; RL 1945, §2311; am L 1945, c 105, §1; RL 1955, §49-51; am LSp 1959 2d, c 1, §19; HRS §325-52]
