§328-73  Bread, rolls, buns, standard for. It shall be unlawful for any person to manufacture, bake, sell, or offer forsale, in this State, for human consumption therein, any white bread or rollsunless the same conforms to the definition and standard of identity then ineffect for enriched bread, and enriched rolls, or enriched buns, as fixed andestablished by order of an appropriate federal agency or officer, pursuant tothe Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act; provided that if during any period nosuch order of any such federal agency or officer fixing and establishing adefinition and standard of identity for enriched bread, and enriched rolls orenriched buns, is in effect, it shall be unlawful for any person during anysuch period to manufacture, bake, sell, or offer for sale in this State, forhuman consumption, any white bread or rolls unless the same conforms to theproposed definition and standard of identity for enriched bread and enrichedrolls or enriched buns promulgated by the Federal Food and Drug Administration(21 C.F.R.
