[§339K-2]  Compact administrator.  Thecompact administrator, acting jointly with like officers of other party states,may promulgate rules and regulations to carry out more effectively the terms ofthe compact.  The compact administrator shall cooperate with all departments,agencies, and officers of and in the government of this State and itssubdivisions in facilitating the present administration of the compact or ofany supplementary agreement or agreements entered into by this Statethereunder.  The compact administrator shall adopt the practices and may imposethe fees authorized under article III of the compact, except that state andcounty law enforcement agencies and the public utilities commission shallretain their enforcement and inspection authority relating to carriers.
