[§340E-9]  Administration.  The directormay:

(1)  Perform any and all acts necessary to carry outthe purposes and requirements of this chapter;

(2)  Administer and enforce the provisions of thischapter and all rules, regulations, and orders promulgated;

(3)  Enter into agreements, contracts, or cooperativearrangements with any person;

(4)  Receive financial and technical assistance fromthe federal government and other public or private agencies;

(5)  Participate in related programs of any public orprivate agencies or organizations;

(6)  Establish adequate fiscal controls and accountingprocedures to assure proper disbursement of an accounting for fundsappropriated or received for the purpose of carrying out this chapter;

(7)  Delegate those responsibilities and duties asappropriate for the purpose of administering the requirements of this chapter;

(8)  Establish and collect fees for conducting planreviews, inspections and laboratory analyses as necessary; and

(9)  Prescribe such regulations as necessary to carryout the director’s function under this chapter. [L 1976, c 84, pt of §1; gen ch1985]
