[§342B-16]  Research, educational, andtraining programs.  The director may:

(1)  Conduct and supervise research programs for thepurpose of determining the causes, effects, hazards, or means to monitor orabate sources of air pollution;

(2)  With the approval of the governor, cooperatewith, and receive money from, the federal government, or any politicalsubdivision of the State or from private sources for the study and control ofair pollution; and

(3)  Conduct and supervise statewide educational andtraining programs on air pollution prevention, control, and abatement,including the preparation and distribution of information relating to airpollution. [L 1992, c 240, pt of §1]
