[§342G-46]  Coordination of bioconversionprograms.  Bioconversion programs shall include:

(1)  A variety of program sizes ranging from backyardcomposting by residents and commercial establishments to full-scale municipalprograms; and

(2)  A range of technical approaches that adequatelydemonstrate the types of techniques most appropriate for Hawaii’s environmentand waste stream.  This may include evaluating the feasibility of using compostor other bioconversion products for landfill cover. [L 1991, c 324, pt of §2]
