§342H-35 Research, educational, andtraining programs. The director may:
(1) Conduct and supervise research programs for thepurpose of determining the sources of solid waste, effects, and hazards ofpollution associated with solid waste management systems;
(2) With the approval of the governor, cooperatewith, and receive money from the federal government or any politicalsubdivision of the State, or from private sources for the study and control ofsolid waste pollution; and
(3) Conduct and supervise state educational andtraining programs on solid waste management systems, including the preparationand distribution of information relating to solid waste pollution. [L 1989, c212, pt of §4; am L 1998, c 226, §5]
