[§342P-25]  False statements. (a)  Any person who knowingly makes a false material statement, representation,or certification in any application, record, report, plan, or other documentfiled or required to be maintained under this chapter or who knowinglyfalsifies, tampers with, or renders inaccurate any monitoring device or methodrequired to be maintained under this chapter, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.

(b)  A person that is an organization, uponconviction of violating this section, shall be fined not more than $20,000. [L1991, c 219, pt of §1]
