§342P-33  Effect of laws, ordinances,and rules.  (a)  All laws, ordinances, and rules inconsistent with thischapter shall be void and of no effect.

(b)  Any county may adopt ordinances and rulesgoverning any matter relating to asbestos or lead abatement that are notgoverned by a rule of the department adopted pursuant to this chapter; providedthat any county ordinance or rule relating to asbestos or lead abatement shallbe void and of no effect as to any matter regulated by a rule of the departmentupon the adoption thereof.
