[§346E-4]  Withholding.  As an option tomaking payments under section 346E-3, the department and the operator inwriting may agree that the department will withhold all or part of the amountof taxes owing for a quarter from Medicaid payments owed by the department tothe operator.  All reports by the department to the federal government or tothe operator, of medicaid payments made to the operator by the department shallinclude any amount withheld to satisfy the tax obligation imposed by thischapter.
