ยง346-242ย Review hearings. Exceptfor good cause shown, the court shall set each case for a review hearing notlater than six months after the date that a protective order and protectiveservices plan are ordered by the court.ย Thereafter, the court shall review thematter at intervals of not longer than six months until the court'sjurisdiction has been terminated.ย The department and the guardian ad litem, ifany, shall submit a written report, with copies to the parties or theircounsel, at least fifteen days prior to the date set for each review.ย Thereport shall evaluate whether the parties have complied with the terms andconditions of the protective order and protective services plan; shallrecommend any modification to the order or plan; and shall recommend whetherthe court shall retain jurisdiction or terminate the case.ย At each review, thecourt shall determine whether the parties have complied with the terms andconditions of the order and plan; enforce sanctions for noncompliance as may beappropriate; and order revisions to the existing order or plan as are in thebest interests of the vulnerable adult.ย At each review, the court shall makean express finding as to whether it shall retain jurisdiction or terminate thecase, and, in each instance, shall state the basis for its action.
