§346-317  Pharmacy reimbursement.  (a) A pharmacy shall submit claims to the department to verify the amount chargedto program participants.  On a schedule to be determined by the department, thedepartment shall reimburse each pharmacy for the discounts of prescriptiondrugs provided to program participants.

(b)  The department shall collect pharmacy usedata necessary to calculate the amount of the manufacturer rebate under section346-314.  The department shall protect the confidentiality of informationreceived as required under state or federal law, rule, or regulation.

(c)  The department shall not imposetransaction charges on participating pharmacies that submit claims or receivepayments under the program. [L 2002, c 76, pt of §1; am L 2004, c 47, §8]
