§346-62 Examination of blind. Thedepartment of human services shall not approve an application for publicassistance to a blind person until the applicant has been examined by anophthalmologist, optometrist, or a qualified physician designated by it to makesuch examinations. The examining person shall certify to the department thediagnosis, prognosis, and visual acuity of the applicant. Certification shallbe in forms prescribed by the department.
