§352-22  Periodic re-examination of statusof persons committed to the department.  The director shall cause to bemade periodic re-examination of the status of each person who is committed tothe department and who has not been finally discharged from such commitment,which shall:

(1)  Include a study of all pertinent circumstances ofsuch person's personal and family situation and an evaluation of the progressmade by such person since the previous study;

(2)  Be made for the purpose of ascertaining all relevantfacts necessary to determine whether existing decisions, orders, anddispositions with respect to such persons should be modified or continued inforce; and

(3)  Be conducted as frequently as the departmentdeems necessary but in any event, at intervals not to exceed six months withrespect to each such person. [L 1980, c 303, pt of §8(1)]
