§352-24  Juvenile parole program.  Thedirector shall establish a program of juvenile parole.  The duties of thejuvenile parole officer shall include:

(1)  Assisting in locating appropriate residentialplacement for paroled persons;

(2)  Efforts to obtain suitable employment for paroledpersons;

(3)  Assisting a paroled person in adjusting tocommunity life by familiarizing the person with available community resourcesand providing opportunities for counseling;

(4)  Maintaining a record of all paroled persons andperiodically updating information therein concerning the residence, employment,and wages, and such details concerning the person's health, conduct, andenvironment as may come to the juvenile parole officer's attention either fromreports or through the officer's own personal investigation;

(5)  To make such other investigations, secure suchother information and data, perform such other duties, and make such otherreports, in addition to those which may be required by law, as may be requiredby the director. [L 1980, c 303, pt of §8(1); am L 1987, c 132, §2]
