§353-28  Property given to committedpersons.  All property given or in any manner whatsoever accruing to acommitted person, shall vest in the committed person's conservator, if thecommitted person is sentenced for a term of years, to be disposed of in thesame manner as the committed person's other property; or if the committedperson is sentenced for life, shall vest in the committed person's heirs orlegatees; provided that any funds accumulated by the committed person andplaced into an account as provided under section 353-20 shall be underthe control and management of the director.
