[§356D-124]  Contract or conveyance to theauthority.  Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, the board ofland and natural resources or other state agency holding lands andimprovements, may contract or otherwise convey at a nominal consideration, bydirect negotiation and without recourse to public auction, the land andimprovements, or the management, operation, and administrative responsibilityover the land and improvements, to the authority or its designee.  The land andimprovements shall be used by the authority or its designee for homelessfacilities or for any other program for the homeless authorized by this part.[L 2006, c 180, pt of §2]
