[§356D-4]  General powers of the authority. (a)  The authority may:

(1)  Sue and be sued;

(2)  Have a seal and alter the same at pleasure;

(3)  Make and execute contracts and other instrumentsnecessary or convenient to the exercise of its powers; and

(4)  Adopt bylaws and rules in accordance with chapter91 for its organization, internal management, and to carry into effect itspurposes, powers, and programs.

(b)  In addition to other powers conferred uponit, the authority may do all things necessary and convenient to carry out thepowers expressly provided in this chapter. [L 2006, c 180, pt of §2]
