§356D-6 - Nomination of resident board member.
[§356D-6] Nomination of resident boardmember. (a) If a vacancy occurs for the resident member seat on theboard, the resident advisory board shall compile a list of five individuals forthe governor's consideration for appointment to the board; provided thenominees to the board shall be:
(1) Participants who are directly assisted by theauthority under the federal public housing or section 8 tenant-basedprograms and who need not be members of the resident advisory board;
(2) At least eighteen years of age; and
(3) Authorized members of the assisted household.
(b) Any individual satisfying the requirementsof subsection (a) may also submit that individual's name for the governor'sconsideration for appointment to the board of directors. [L 2006, c 180, pt of§2]
