§372-2  Definitions.  As used in thischapter:

"Apprentice" means a personparticipating, through employment, in an approved schedule of work experiencesupplemented by related instruction and who is a party to an apprenticeshipagreement registered with the department in accordance with this chapter.

"Apprenticeship agreement" means awritten agreement which conforms to standards established under this chapterand is entered into between an apprentice and (1) an employer, (2) anassociation of employers, (3) an organization of employees, or (4) a jointcommittee representing employers and employees.

"Department" means the department oflabor and industrial relations.
