§372-4  Apprenticeship council.  Thedirector of labor and industrial relations may establish within the departmentof labor and industrial relations a committee to be known as the apprenticeshipcouncil which shall sit in an advisory capacity to the director on matterswithin the jurisdiction of the department relating to apprenticeship programs. The membership and organization of the council shall be determined by thedirector.  The members of the council shall be appointed and removed at thepleasure of the director.  The director or the director's subordinate officerin charge of the apprenticeship program shall act as secretary of the council.[L Sp 1941, c 23, pt of §1; RL 1945, §4141; RL 1955, §89-4; am L 1967, c 20,§1(c); HRS §372-4; gen ch 1985]
