§381-14  Law as exercise of police power. This chapter shall be deemed an exercise of the police power of the State forthe protection of the public welfare, safety, prosperity, health, and peace ofthe people; and all of the provisions of the chapter shall be liberallyconstrued for the accomplishment of such purposes.
