§383-172  Total extended benefit amount. The total extended benefit amount payable to any eligible individual withrespect to the individual's applicable benefit year shall be fifty per cent ofthe total amount of regular benefits which were payable to the individual underthis chapter in the individual's applicable benefit year; provided that theamount so determined shall be reduced by the total amount of additionalbenefits paid (or deemed paid) to the individual for weeks of unemployment inthe individual's benefit year which began prior to the effective date of theextended benefit period which is current in the week for which the individualfirst claims extended benefits.
