[§393-45]  Entitlement to premiumsupplementation.  (a)  An employer who employs less than eight employeesentitled to coverage under this chapter and who provides coverage to suchemployees pursuant to section 393-7(a) shall be entitled to premium supplementationfrom the fund if the employer's share of the cost of providing such coverage asdetermined by sections 393-13 and 393-15 exceeds 1.5 per cent of the totalwages payable to such employees and if the amount of such excess is greaterthan five per cent of the employer's income before taxes directly attributableto the business in which such employees are employed.

(b)  The amount of the supplementation shall bethat part of the employer's share of the premium cost which exceeds the limitsspecified in subsection (a). [L 1974, c 210, pt of §1]
