[§396-4.5]  Certification of safety andhealth professionals.  (a)  Only individuals receiving certification fromthe department as safety and health professionals shall be qualified to certifythat an employer:

(1)  Has an effective safety and health program; and

(2)  Qualifies for a reduction in workers'compensation insurance premiums under section 431:14-103(b).

(b)  Certification as a safety and healthprofessional shall be:

(1)  Issued to an individual only; and

(2)  Renewable.

(c)  Certificates issued under this section maybe revoked or suspended by the director on any grounds specified in rulesadopted under this chapter. [L 1995, c 234, §3]
