[§412:13-206]  Application fees.  Upon
applying to the commissioner under this article for an initial license to
establish and maintain a Hawaii state branch or Hawaii state agency, a foreign
bank shall pay to the commissioner an application fee of $9,000 or a greater
amount as the commissioner shall establish by rule pursuant to chapter 91.  For
an application to establish additional branches or agencies, the foreign bank
shall pay an application fee of $1,500 or a greater amount as may be
established by rule.  For an application to amend a license, the foreign bank
shall pay an application fee of $1,500 or a greater amount as may be
established by rule.  All application fees shall be nonrefundable. [L 1996, c
