ARTICLE8.  TRUST COMPANIES

 

PART I. GENERAL PROVISIONS

 

§412:8-100  Applicability of article. This article shall apply to all financial institutions chartered under thisarticle as trust companies or otherwise authorized to engage in the trustbusiness under this chapter, whether the business of such institution iscarried on in this State or elsewhere.  The powers and duties of trusteesimposed by case law shall not be affected by this chapter unless a provisionhereof conflicts with such case law, in which event this chapter shall control.[L 1993, c 350, pt of §1]
