[§428-208]  Liability for false statement infiled record.  If a record authorized or required to be filed under thischapter contains a false statement, any person who suffers loss by reliance onthe statement may recover damages for the loss from the person who signed therecord or caused another to sign it on the person's behalf and knew thestatement to be false at the time the record was signed.
