[§414D-62]  Reserved name.  (a)  A personmay reserve the exclusive use of a corporate name, including a fictitious namefor a foreign corporation whose corporate name is not available, by deliveringan application to the department director for filing.  Upon finding that thecorporate name applied for is available, the department director shallreserve the name for the applicant's exclusive use for a one hundred twenty-dayperiod.

(b)  The owner of a reserved corporate name maytransfer the reservation to another person by delivering to the departmentdirector a signed notice of the transfer that states the name and address ofthe transferee. [L 2001, c 105, pt of §1]
