§425E-116  Resignation of registeredagent.  [Section effective until June 30, 2010.  For section effectiveJuly 1, 2010, see below.]  (a)  A registered agent may resign from theregistered agent's appointment by signing and delivering to the director forfiling, a signed statement of resignation.  The statement may include astatement that the registered office shall also be discontinued.

(b)  The registered agent shall mail one copyto the registered office (if not discontinued) and the other copy to thelimited partnership at its principal office.

(c)  The appointmentof the agent shall be terminated, and the registered office discontinued if soprovided, on the thirty-first day after the date on which the statement wasfiled. [L 2003, c 210, pt of §1]
