§431:10-236  Claim administration notwaiver.  None of the following acts by or on behalf of an insurer shall bedeemed to constitute a waiver of any provision of a policy or of any defense ofthe insurer under the policy:

(1)  Acknowledgment of the receipt of notice of lossor claim under the policy.

(2)  Furnishing forms for reporting a loss or claim,for giving information relative thereto, for making proof of loss, or receivingor acknowledging receipt of such forms or proof completed or uncompleted.

(3)  Investigating any loss or claim under any policyor engaging in negotiations looking toward a possible settlement of any suchloss or claim. [L 1987, c 347, pt of §2]
