[§431:10H-204] Extension of benefits. Termination of long-term care insurance shall be without prejudice to anybenefits payable for institutionalization if the institutionalization beganwhile the long-term care insurance was in force and continues withoutinterruption after termination. The extension of benefits beyond the periodthe long-term care insurance was in force may be limited to the duration of thebenefit period, if any, or to payment of the maximum benefits and may besubject to any policy waiting period, and all other applicable provisions ofthe policy.
