[§431:4-236]  Disclosure of equivalentinformation.  Unless proxies, consents, or authorizations with respect to astock of a domestic insurer, subject to section 431:4-231, are solicited by oron behalf of the management of the insurer from the holders of record of stockof the insurer in accordance with this part and the schedules thereunder priorto any annual or other meeting, the insurer shall file with the insurancecommissioner and transmit to all stockholders of record informationsubstantially equivalent to the information that would be required to betransmitted if a solicitation were made.
