[§431:9A-108.5]  Process against nonresidentlicensees.  (a)  Each licensed nonresident producer shall appoint thecommissioner as the producer's agent to receive service of legal process issuedagainst the producer in this State upon causes of action arising within thisState.  Service upon the commissioner as agent shall constitute effective legalservice upon the producer.

(b)  The appointment shall be irrevocable foras long as there could be any cause of action against the producer arising outof the producer's insurance transactions in this State.

(c)  Service of process on the commissionershall be made in accordance with section 431:2-206. [L 2002, c 155, pt of §3]
