§435E-46  Attendance and testimony.  Noperson is excused from attending or testifying or from producing any documentor record before the commissioner, or in obedience to the subpoena of thecommissioner or any officer designated by the commissioner, or in anyproceeding instituted by the commissioner, on the ground that the testimony orevidence (documentary or otherwise) required of the person may tend toincriminate the person or subject the person to a penalty or forfeiture; but noindividual may be prosecuted or subjected to any penalty or forfeiture for oron account of any transaction, matter, or thing concerning which the individualis compelled, after validly claiming the individual's privilege againstself-incrimination, to testify or produce evidence (documentary or otherwise),except that the individual testifying is not exempt from prosecution andpunishment for perjury or contempt committed in testifying.
