CHAPTER 42

ALFALFA AND CLOVER SEED INDUSTRIES

22-4206. Vacancies -- Terms. Any office which becomes vacant before expiration of the member’s term shall be filled by appointment in the manner provided for regular appointments, except that such office may remain vacant until the next annual meeting of the growers if the vacancy is for less than one (1) year.

Commencing on July 1, 1975, the grower members of the commission shall draw lots to determine their respective terms of office. Two (2) of the members shall serve for one (1) year; two (2) of the members shall serve for two (2) years; and two (2) of the members shall serve for three (3) years. The dealer member shall be appointed for a term of three (3) years. The term of office of the members of the commission thereafter shall be three (3) years, commencing on July 1, 1975.

Members of the commission may not serve more than two (2) consecutive terms, provided, upon serving two (2) consecutive terms, and the lapse of one (1) full term, such member may again be nominated and appointed to the commission.
