CHAPTER 12
PORT DISTRICTS -- ELECTION OF PORT COMMISSIONERS
70-1220. Elections -- Expenses. [effective until january 1, 2011] All expenses of elections for the formation of a port district and annexations thereto shall be paid by the county or counties holding such election, and such expenditure is hereby declared to be for a county purpose. The port district shall bear the expenses, or the proportional share of the expense, if held in conjunction with other elections, of all other port district elections.
