Chapter 9. Smart Partnership Grants

Guidelines for making grants
Sec. 1. The department shall establish guidelines for making
grants to the Indiana schools smart partnership, which is established
to create partnerships between schools and local businesses to make
the curricula of math and science relevant to students.

Grants to coordinating organizations and participating schools
Sec. 2. The department may make grants from the state
technology advancement and retention account established by
IC 4-12-12-1 to coordinating organizations and participating schools.

Approval of grants by budget agency
Sec. 3. A grant issued under this chapter is subject to approval by
the budget agency.
