Chapter 1. Purpose
IC 22-4.5-1-1
Goals
Sec. 1. The workforce investment system is established to achieve
the following goals:
(1) To coordinate activities at the state and local levels to
increase the employment, retention, occupational skills, and
earnings of the workforce.
(2) To reduce welfare dependency.
(3) To enhance the productivity and competitiveness of Indiana
business and industry.
(4) To encourage continuous improvement in worker
preparation from kindergarten through adulthood.
