        29A.50  IMMUNITY.
         The commanding officer and members of any of the military forces
      engaged in the suppression of an insurrection, assistance to civil
      authorities in emergencies, homeland defense, or security duties, or
      the enforcement of the laws, shall have the same immunity as peace
      officers.
