        8.35A  INFORMATION TO BE GIVEN TO LEGISLATIVE SERVICES
      AGENCY.
         1.  By July 1, the director of the department of management, in
      conjunction with the director of the department of administrative
      services, shall provide a projected expenditure breakdown of each
      appropriation for the beginning fiscal year to the legislative
      services agency in the form and level of detail requested by the
      legislative services agency.  By the fifteenth of each month, the
      director, in conjunction with the director of the department of
      administrative services, shall transmit to the legislative services
      agency a record for each appropriation of actual expenditures for the
      prior month of the fiscal year and the fiscal year to date in the
      form and level of detail as requested by the legislative services
      agency.  By October 1, the director, in conjunction with the director
      of the department of administrative services, shall transmit the
      total record of an appropriation, including reversions and transfers
      for the prior fiscal year ending June 30, to the legislative services
      agency.
         2.  Commencing October 1, the director shall provide weekly budget
      tapes in the form and level of detail requested by the legislative
      services agency reflecting finalized agency budget requests for the
      following fiscal year as submitted to the governor.  The director
      shall transmit all agency requests in final form to the legislative
      services agency by November 15.  Final budget records containing the
      governor's recommendation and final agency requests shall be
      transmitted to the legislative services agency by January 1 or no
      later than the date the governor's budget document is delivered to
      the printer.  The governor's recommendation included on this record
      shall be considered confidential by the legislative services agency
      until it is made public by the governor.  The legislative services
      agency shall use this data in the preparation of information for the
      legislative appropriation process.
         3.  The director shall communicate any changes or anticipated
      changes to the budgeting system or the accounting system in writing
      to the legislative services agency prior to implementation.
         4.  A government agency which receives state funds directly from
      the state or indirectly through a political subdivision as directed
      by statute and which is not a city, county, or school district is
      subject to this subsection.  A government agency which is subject to
      this subsection shall submit a copy of its budget to the legislative
      services agency, identifying it as being submitted under this
      subsection, when the budget of that government agency has received
      approval from the governing head or body of that agency.  The copy of
      the budget submitted to the legislative services agency shall be on
      the budget forms provided by the department of management to state
      agencies under this chapter.  The government agency shall also submit
      a statement identifying any funds available to the agency which are
      not included in the budget.
         5.  The department shall transmit the enterprise strategic plan
      and related information and an agency shall transmit its agency
      strategic plan, performance report, and related information as
      required by chapter 8E to the legislative services agency.
