607A.7 FALSE EXCUSE -- PROHIBITED REQUESTS -- PENALTY. A person who knowingly makes a false affidavit, statement, or claim, for the purpose of relieving the person or another person from juror service, or a person who requests the court to select the person as a juror for a particular case, commits contempt.
