        97B.36  REPRESENTATIVES OF SYSTEM.
         The system is authorized to delegate to any member, officer, or
      employee of the system designated by it any of the powers conferred
      upon it by this chapter and is authorized to be represented by its
      own attorneys in any court in any case or proceeding arising under
      the provisions of said chapter.
