313A.8 RIGHT OF WAY SECURED. Whenever the department shall authorize the construction of any toll bridge, the department is empowered to secure rights of way therefor and for approaches thereto by gift or purchase or by condemnation in the manner provided by law for the taking of private property for public purposes.
