Chapter 12.--CITIES AND MUNICIPALITIES
Article 17.--BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND GROUNDS

      12-1764.   Acquisition of fee title to realty. The public building commission established under this act shall have the power to acquire the fee simple title to real property, or a leasehold interest in real property located on the campus of any state university, including campus property as defined in subsection (c) of K.S.A. 76-3a01 and amendments thereto, including easements and reversionary interests in the streets, alleys and other public places and personal property required for its purposes, by purchase, gift, devise or by the exercise of the power of eminent domain of the state and title thereto shall be taken in the corporate name of the commission.
