19-2623.Same; land for water mains; eminent domain.
If said grantee is a corporation, it shall have the right to hold,
control, acquire by donation, or purchase, and if need be, condemn any
land, easement, railroad right of way, public highway or any property
upon which it may be necessary to lay, maintain and operate water mains,
laterals, and equipment. If it shall be necessary for said corporation
to condemn any land, easement or right of way for the purpose of laying
and maintaining said water mains, laterals and equipment, said persons,
partnership or corporation shall follow the procedure set forth in
K.S.A. 26-501 to 26-516, inclusive.
