Article 35.--WATER SUPPLY AND DISTRIBUTION DISTRICTS
19-3501.Definitions.
As used in this act:
(a) "County commissioners," "county
clerk," and "register of deeds" mean, respectively, board of county
commissioners, county clerk and register of deeds of the county in which
the greatest portion of the territory of any existing or proposed water
district is located, unless otherwise specifically indicated;
(b) "commission" means the survey commission;
(c) "board" or
"district board" or "governing body" means the water district board;
(d) "district" means water district; and
(e) "water utility" means any water district organized under this act,
any city or rural water district or any public water utility operating
under a certificate of convenience and necessity issued by the state
corporation commission, whether such public water utility is privately or
publicly owned.
